Procedure

To prepare phase A, add water, Arquad PC SV-60 PG and glycerin to a main mixing vessel and mix for 5 minutes. Slowly add Celquat LS-50 polymer to main batch and begin heating to 70ºC. Continue mixing until Celquat LS-50 polymer has completely dissolved and has hydrated. In a separate beaker, add phase B components and heat to 70ºC. Add phase B to phase A. Continue mixing at 70ºC for 15 minutes. Remove heat and begin cooling batch to 50ºC. Add phase C components. Continue mixing and cooling to 40ºC. Add Euxyl PE 9010 when batch reaches 40ºC. Cool to RT and adjust pH with citric acid to pH between 4.25 and 4.75.
